 STEP ONE

Businesses/individuals engaged in business activities (including residential property rental and Airbnb) within the town limits of Gauley Bridge, regardless of whether or not such persons maintain a permanent place of business in Gauley Bridge, must have a business license with the town. STEP TWO

All businesses with a physical commercial location within the town limits are required to obtain a building inspection certificate. You will need to schedule a building inspection before you can open your business or have a tentant move in. To schedule an inspection please call 304-632-2505 and ask for Billy Wriston or Bob Scott.

STEP Three

The Town Clerk will mail a Business & Occupancy Tax Return quarterly after issuing the business license.  Filing periods end on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.  All returns are due 30 days after the end of the applicable filing period.
